Our Team

Bill
Owner
Bill is a North Carolina native and has been a part of the Wilmington community for 45 years. His taste in music reflects his love for the beach, and his favorites include Paul McCartney, Bob Marley, and Jimmy Buffet. Bill has always been eager to take on a new challenge, and that desire is what brought him to The Audio Lab. Bill brings a high level of energy to our team and the community. In his free time, he finds joy in traveling, exercising, playing golf, and spending time with family, especially his six grandchildren, whom he calls his pride and joy.

John
General Manager
John moved to Wilmington from Cleveland a decade ago and considers it one of his best decisions yet. He loves being serenaded by Motown, classic rock, and classical music—BB King, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Escala, Jennifer Thomas. John loves the violin for its powerful and sultry sound. When he isn't providing our clients with a world-class viewing and listening experience, you can find John catching the sunrise, cooking, visiting museums, or volunteering around the community.

Pat
Installer
Originally from California, Pat has been a Wilmington local for 23 years. He hears the beauty in every genre of music and especially enjoys the musical stylings of Eric Wooten and Carlos Santana. As a bass player, Pat's passion for music goes beyond just listening. He used to play professionally and now plays in a band here in Wilmington (check out Billy Electritx!). His favorite part of working at The Audio Lab is being able to put his creativity and imagination to use. When not working, Pat is almost always doing something with music or taking on new house projects.

Smokey
Installer
A 13-year Marine Corps veteran with Native American roots, Smokey moved from a small town in Oklahoma to Wilmington 10 years ago. He listens to a wide range of music, and some of his favorite concerts include Five Finger Death Punch, Korn, and Chevelle. If he could travel anywhere, it would be a quiet, tropical island. Working at The Audio Lab allows him to share his passion with others and gives him great fulfillment. Outside of music, Smokey enjoys spending time with his son/daughter, PC gaming, and motorcycles.

I moved to NC from Alaska. I've lived in NC for about 10 years but only been in Wilmington for about 5 months. I love all kinds of music but my favorite is rock and metal, my all time favorite bands are A Day To Remember, Ice Nine Kills, and Neck Deep. The best concert I've ever seen was A Day To Remember, I've seen them 2 times live and they put on the most amazing show. In my spare time I like to play video games, listen to music and playing guitar. I like putting in the work to make a sound system that sounds amazing so people can enjoy the music they love. My favorite instrument is guitar because its fun to play and i love hearing how others can play, but I also like violin and drums. My dream trip would be to go back to Alaska, I love the cold, the nature and seeing the northern lights is awesome. Random thing about me is that I went to college to record music and run sound for live shows.
